friday americans

I've always wanted to take a ppicture of an American flag in some way shape or form. I guess this is my first stab at it. It's an icon, and important to our country as a symbol, probably a bit taken for granted. I'm not pushing any political views or agendas here, but I feel like it's important so I wanted to share

Enjoy the weekend everyone, I'll be back Monday with more, and remember, Prints are still available for $20. Any image seen here on this blog, it's cheap art and that is important to me as well. If you enjoy something you should be able to enjoy it, so please enjoy!

Thanks

I'd just like to take a quick second to thank all of my friends and family for your support and inspiration. Since starting this blog I have made some great new photographers, seen a ton of work that I would not have been exposed to, and have had the pleasure of sharing my work with a broad and varied audience. Be sure to stop by the links on the left of my page and check out all the great work! Keep those eyes open!

monday monday...

Well it is another rainy Monday...so again I post a warm image with no rain. This is from Vero Beach, FL from this spring. It was a lovely evening on the beach, right around 5 o'clock, with a warm strong ocean breeze coming up the coast. So have a thought about that today if your in the rain, we'll come out on the other side!

Rain

One of my favorite new images...kind of surreal but horribly normal in subject. Little surprises await all day long, we just have to catch up with them. I think I caught one...

Wednesday

Well today the sun is out...and for the whole day too! This image I made in Vero Beach, FL this past Spring. I've always wanted a good sea/cloud picture, and I think this is a good start. Feels like a great big thought, or idea hanging out over the ocean. Listen closely...

Groggy Tuesday

A bit gray outside my window this morning...so I thought i'd share some sun. Sometimes the smallest of reflections turns me on, and this is one of those times. Enjoy the internet sunshine, and maybe in a few days we will get some real sunshine in New England.

One from the archives

It's been awhile...I was scanning recently and looking through old negatives and found this one from my Maine trip. Delicious home made apple pies are in the work here. I really began to appreciate food in Maine, simple and honest. yes.
